Robbie Schoen
is a multidisciplinary artist who finds inspiration in communing with things that are at the end of their intended life and ready for metamorphosis. As a teenager, he assembled a three-month photo-narrative of his grandfather’s journey from deathbed to casket. Time and memory always play an important role in the development of his artistic projects. Robbie is the director of the award winning Felix Kulpa Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden and the sole preparator at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History.
